Do you have a keen eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset? As a Trouble Shooter at UPS, you play a crucial role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations.

What you’ll do

Working in two shifts from 06:00 – 15:00 and 15:00 – 0:00, you will be the backbone of our warehouse efficiency, leveraging your technical skills and problem-solving process to resolve system issues and enhance operational processes. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our warehouse runs smoothly, that deadlines are met, and that we continuously improve our service quality and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Support & Troubleshooting: Quickly identify and resolve system issues that affect warehouse operations, ensuring minimal disruption to workflows.
• Deadline Management: Collaborate with the team leader to prioritize tasks and communicate expected timelines, ensuring that all promised deadlines are met.
• Customer Communication: Serve as the point of contact for customer issues that require escalation, ensuring thorough logging and tracking of unresolved problems.
• Proactive Error Resolution: Actively monitor operations to preemptively address potential errors, both during and prior to the execution of processes.
• Performance Reporting: Compile and generate daily performance reports and summaries, providing insights that inform decision-making and strategy.
• Data Analysis & Improvement Proposals: Monitor and analyze various reports to identify trends, proposing and implementing actionable improvements to enhance service quality and profitability.
  

Key Interfaces:

• Internal: Collaborate closely with Warehouse Operations, Warehouse Management, and Non-Operational Teams to ensure seamless communication and teamwork.
• External: Maintain productive relationships with Customers and Suppliers to align on operational expectations and resolve issues promptly.

What you’ll need

• A degree, preferably in logistics or administration, or comparable work experience within the logistics industry.
• Experience with the Microsoft Office.
• A structured working attitude: you’re good at setting priorities for yourself and others.
• Great communication skills: you easily build relationships with colleagues.
• Fluent in English. Additionally, fluency in Dutch is a plus.
