Buildings and Systems Engineering Supervisor at UPS

Roermond

Are you an engineer with technical knowledge and people skills? Are you up for a challenge at the world's largest courier service? As a Buildings and Systems Engineer Supervisor at UPS, you successfully lead and manage building construction, mechanical system implementation and major customer implementation projects throughout the BENELUX.

What you’ll do

As a Buildings and Systems Engineering Supervisor, you'll be responsible for various tasks to maintain facility operations and ensure compliance. This includes supervising construction and installation contractors to uphold quality standards and meet deadlines. You'll also oversee facility maintenance, business growth projects, warehouse/office relocations and environmental compliance, safety protocols, and system reliability. Leading Engineering Teams, you'll actively engage in on-site design and planning processes. Your role involves conducting feasibility studies, ensuring project compliance with regulations, and managing tendering and contracting processes. You'll oversee budgeting, document management, and vendor performance, while also responding to customer requests and improving operational processes.

What you’ll need

• Excellent knowledge of the Dutch and English Language.
• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering Sciences like Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering (or similar).
• In-depth knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office and preferably CAD.
• Willingness to work flexible.
• High organizational talent.

Please be aware that your main work location will be Ringweg in Roermond, but you will be responsible for BENELUX.
