Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Customs Specialist to manage and coordinate customs compliance activities, with a particular focus on bonded warehouse operations. The successful candidate will ensure all imports, exports, and warehouse activities are conducted in full compliance with customs laws and regulations, supporting efficient and risk-free cross-border trade.


What you'll do:

  • Ensure company compliance with all relevant customs laws, regulations, and international trade agreements.
  • Oversee and ensure compliance for all import/export operations, including bonded warehouse
  • Manage operations and compliance related to bonded warehouse storage, including tracking of bonded goods, inventory reconciliation, and reporting to customs authorities.
  • Ensure correct handling of bonded goods to avoid penalties and ensure timely clearance or re-export.
  • Liaise with customs authorities, brokers, freight forwarders, and internal departments.
  • Monitor and resolve customs issues, holds, and discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain internal records of customs and bonded warehouse activities to ensure audit readiness.
  • Stay up to date on international trade laws, customs procedures, and bonded warehouse regulations.
  • Support the business in obtaining and maintaining certifications such as AEO (Authorized Economic Operator).
  • Advise internal teams on bonded warehousing and customs compliance.

What you'll need:

  • 2–5 years of experience in customs compliance, bonded warehouse operations, or international logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of bonded warehouse procedures, customs regulations, tariff classification, and incoterms.
  • Familiarity with customs software systems
  • Certification such as Certified Customs Declarant or equivalent is a strong advantage.
  • High attention to detail, excellent organization, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
