Job Summary

As Functional User Representative supervisor (FUR), you are a self-starter who possesses strong analytical skills and enjoys driving process improvements for system related projects and tasks. You have high integrity and accountability standards and like to operate in an international environment. As part of the Engineering department, you will add value to the services UPS is providing to its customers by optimizing processes and working on technology

What do you do on an average day?

• You develop and maintain the strategic roadmap for the applications.
• You manage different projects, from requirements gathering to implementation.
• You act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on UPS SCS applications and coordinate with internal stakeholders (Operations, IT, etc.) during project implementation.
• You drive process re-design/optimization for operations with UPS operations
• You lead the setup of new customers on UPS applications and lead the handover to UPS Operations.
• You work closely together with a diverse group of SME from all over the globe (e.g. Operators and management from all over Europe, UPS IE colleagues in other geos, IT personnel based in US and India, clients, and vendors)
• You provide trainings and demonstrations of the UPS systems.

What do we expect of you?

• Competencies: Passionate leader who can motivate others to excel in their performance. You have strong communicational and technical skills. Strong sense for continuous improvement.
• Education: Bachelor or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business;
• Experience: 5 years proven track record in Warehousing and/or Transport;
• Enthusiasm and Interest in Logistics in general, Systems and IT development;
• Experience with ERP, WMS and/or TMS platforms is a plus;
• Fluent in English
