Job Description:


In this position it is important that you see what is happening on the yard and that you respond well to it. As you probably know, in the logistics world, every minute counts. It is therefore important that you understand the value of punctuality as an important link in our logistics chain.

What you will do:

  • First you check with the help of a checklist whether your car is in order before you start;
  • Your main job is doing shift work on the yard. You receive all assignments by an on-board computer and communicate with the control room;
  • At the end of your shift, you are responsible for closing all containers and trailers;
  • Finally you will check your car again and report any defects.

What you will need:

  • To be able to do the aforementioned activities it is mandatory to be in possesion of a valid C or CE driving license. A CE driving license and Code 95 is a plus;
  • You have an exemplary function on the yard and dare to address your colleagues when necessary;
  • We are looking fo someone who is physically capable of securing an container to a trailer or truck manually;
  • We expect flexibility your start time may fluctuate according to when the operation starts.
